1. Choose the right account
If your company already has a Naradox customer account, ask one of its portal owners to invite you. Use that invitation to join the existing customer. Creating another company account does not give you access to the original company's licenses or Requests.
New account creation is temporarily unavailable. Existing customers can still sign in or accept an invitation to their company's account.
A portal membership does not create a local or Entra account inside a self-hosted deployment and does not reserve one of its licensed-user seats. A portal owner has no automatic firewall or product-administration rights. Configure installed-product access through its own identity administrator and access administrator.
2. Activate your portal access
For a new company account
- After submitting signup, check the work mailbox you supplied. The verification email contains the account-activation link.
- Open the link, check the displayed email address, and choose and confirm a password meeting the form's requirements.
- Choose Set password and activate to enter the portal. If you started from Billing or Downloads, activation returns you there; otherwise it opens Overview. If sign-in cannot complete, follow the sign-in recovery link shown after activation.
- Confirm your signed-in identity and customer context before issuing a license or starting a purchase.
If the message does not arrive, check your email filtering and use Send verification email once with the same address. An expired verification link needs a fresh link. A delivery problem leaves the account pending; submitting another signup is not a recovery step.
For an invitation
Open your invitation and check the customer name and role. A new portal user supplies a name and password before choosing Accept invite. If the page recognizes an existing account, accept and then sign in with that account; its existing two-factor authentication still applies. An accepted invitation cannot be reused to change your password.
3. Protect your portal sign-in
Open Account settings > Two-factor auth from the signed-in account card. To enable it, enter your current password and choose Start setup. Add the displayed QR code or manual setup key to your authenticator, save the backup codes securely, and enter a current authenticator code before choosing Enable.
Confirm that two-factor authentication is enabled. Future sign-ins require an authenticator code or an unused backup code after your password. Each backup code works once. Keep the setup key and codes private; they are credentials, including when a support request is open.
On the Two-factor auth page, use Generate fresh backup codes with a current authenticator or unused backup code when replacing the saved set. Store the new codes and retire the old set. If an MFA request ends without a reliable result, follow Check current MFA statusbefore starting another change.
Use Account settings > Change password to replace a known password. Enter the current password and confirm the new one, then sign in again after completion. Customer portal sessions expire after 30 minutes without activity or eight hours after sign-in. Use Sign out when finished on a shared device.
Invite colleagues with the appropriate portal role
Only a customer owner manages Members. Choose roles according to the person's work; the installed product has a separate access model.
- Owner
- Manages members, commercial actions, and Requests; can accept required Terms.
- Billing admin
- Manages commercial actions and Requests and can accept required Terms, without managing members.
- Support admin
- Creates and replies to Requests, without commercial or member-management authority.
- Viewer
- Reads the available customer pages and request conversations without creating or replying to Requests.
- Open Members, enter the colleague's Work email, choose a Role, and select Send invite.
- Check the delivery result and pending invitation. Email queued or an invitation created is not confirmation that the colleague has joined.
- The recipient follows the invitation steps above. Confirm that the person appears in the members list with the intended role.
If delivery fails, use the pending invitation's Resend action and have the recipient use the newest email. Revoke an invitation that is no longer wanted. A pending invitation does not become a membership until it is accepted.
Maintain ownership and remove access when responsibilities change
An owner can change another member's role and select Update, or remove that member. Role changes and removal invalidate the affected person's existing portal sessions. Confirm the resulting members list after the action succeeds.
You cannot change or remove your own membership, and the customer must retain an owner. For a handover, invite or promote the successor first, confirm that they can sign in as an owner, and have them change or remove the outgoing owner. Revoke unused pending invitations as part of the handover.
Removing a portal member removes their access to this customer account. It does not cancel subscriptions, remove deployed software, or disable their account in an installed Naradox. Handle that deployment's access separately with its identity administrator.
Continue with the guide for your task
- Getting started: follow the portal's onboarding route and the installation guide for your first deployment.
- Licenses and Billing: follow licensing and activation for issuance, renewal, capacity, and subscription changes.
- Downloads: use the release and verification guide before running an installer.
- Requests: follow the support checklist and keep replies in the existing conversation.
- Account documents: open the documents available to your customer, such as shared account or commercial records.
When required Terms have changed, an owner or billing admin must review and accept the displayed version before the customer portal can be used. Other members ask one of those people to complete the review. Creating another account does not resolve the existing customer's outstanding acceptance.
Recover the existing account
- Not activated yet: choose Resend activation email on Login or use activation-email recovery to choose your first password. Password recovery is for accounts already activated.
- Forgotten password: use password recovery with your portal email and follow the reset message. If you started from Billing or Downloads, sign-in after the reset returns you there. Password recovery does not replace a missing authenticator or backup code.
- Lost authenticator: sign in with an unused backup code. If both are unavailable, use account support; a colleague's owner role does not provide an MFA-reset action.
- Invitation expired or revoked: ask the owner for a current invitation. If it already says accepted, sign in with the invited address.
- Unexpected sign-out: sign in again and check your current role. Session expiry, password changes, and membership changes can end an existing session.
- Repeated attempts are limited: wait for the stated retry period and resolve the underlying address, password, or code problem before trying again.
For account help, provide the company name, affected email, approximate time, and displayed error. Do not send passwords, verification or invitation links, authenticator setup keys, or backup codes. For a product sign-in issue, use the administrator of the installed deployment.
